Re: Bollywood Curry Night @ Bohemia Bagel Holešovice

It’s become a bit of a tradition in our household to tuck into a curry on Bonfire Night. If we’re having friends and family over for our own firework display, I find there’s nothing easier to make ahead and keep simmering on the stove for people to help themselves to. Curry Aid, established by Appleby woman Jessie Oddy in 2004 raises money to help provide orphaned and disabled children with a safe place to sleep, food, clothes and hope for the future. And the work of Curry Aid has inspired members of St Patrick’s Church in Heysham to host a Bollywood theme night – and Jessie travelled to Lancashire to cook a banquet of traditional Indian food for the charity evening. The trouble is after a busy day at work, you don’t always have the time or inclination to prepare an Indian meal from scratch. But with Shana you don’t have to – their authentic curries are easy to cook, tasty and affordable. About money? They don’t have to bother for there is a money lender. Just seat back and enjoy the Bonfire Night.
