The Chelsea Hotel has been always sought by people at the margin of official streams, musicians, visual artists, poets and photographers, so its history is very rich in this sense. However, the lecture will focus on the period from the 1950s up to the present, when it accommodates members of bands such as The Velvet Underground, Frank Zappa and his Mothers Of Invention, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Sex Pistols and related artists. The lecture will be accompanied by music recordings.

A story of seven characters pulling out a devil for a tail from our entrails and showing him in his full insidiousness. Cowardliness of a poor, humiliation of  a queen, harm to a kitty. A crude performance that can be considered even cruder as it displays a real world round the corner which we aren't daring enough to look at. In a rather crude, chaotic but humorous form, the piece tells a story of seven characters searching for their ten thousand lost dreams and one worthy sense of life. A performance that was awarded prestigious Herald Angel Award at Fringe Festival in Edinburgh 2009!

What happens with friendship when it has to spread out into two ends of the world? Will it hold on the steep fall, will it rest in the soft grass or will it have to split up?Beside professional actors and dancers also children roles help children spectators to overcome diffidence and enter into an imaginary realm of the branched tree inspired by the novel of Timothée de Fombell Tobiass Lolness. Spectators together with actors and dancers sets out for an itineracy in branches that will lead them to the right end. The performance is for children from the age 6.

     The Köpenicker Str. 137 was squatted on the 23.02.1990. Short time before that, the house stopped being rented. The house didn`t got torn down, how it was planned, because of the squatting. In summer 1991 there was made a pre-contract with the administrator of the estate, the W.B.M. (housing association Berlin-Mitte), for the use of all rooms. The contract included measures for D.I.Y. building up as well as making single contracts for the housing space. 
On the 01.05.1993 there were made unlimited contracts for the housing space, with the new administrator of the estate, the G.S.E. (association for urban development).
