@ Schokoladen - Mitte, Berlin

There are many Singer/Songwriters. The Berlin based Julia A. Noack, however, is not just one of them. She has one clear advantage: Her charismatic and one-of-a-kind singing voice that none of her colleagues can bear comparison with.
Her songs which could be put - if one desires to do so - in boxes labeled „Indie Folk“ or „Acoustic Pop“, are intense and authentic and grab you where it hurts just a little. Sometimes powerful and explosive, sometimes playful, dreamy and melancholy, they all have one thing in common: They go right under your skin, sink their claws into your flesh and are hard to get rid of once they’ve entered your bloodstream. Julia A. Noack is one of the few who can really touch you, change your mood, give you hope, make you pine and draw a grin on your face.
In 2007, her debut album “piles & pieces“ aroused attention and enthusiasm among the audience and the media. On the album you find thirteen songs from an entire decade, collected, bundled and piled up.
After this brilliant takeoff, Julia A. Noack is now working on her second album which is planned to be released in spring 2010 on Timezone.
In her first touring year 2008, Julia A. Noack played around 50 live shows throughout Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, some of them solo, some with band accompaniment, and always withthat distinctive voice that makes you hold your breath.
