„Videokemp“ is one-day itinerant show of contemporary videoart, operating for 5 years out of Prague. The basic idea behind Videokemp is videoart presentation in a non-traditional form of „tent town" - a camp in which individual participants themselves build their tent and present their work in it. Videokemp is open to all visitors and passers-by who can watch a wide cross-section of current videoart creation in a pleasant environment, but also to meet with its authors, and offers the opportunity to participate with he tools of an otherwise significantly insulated current art scene to anyone.

Milena Oda (cz/de)

Born in the Czech Republic, currently lives in Berlin and writes prose, plays, poetry and essays. Worked at the theatre, as a dramaturgist in municipal theatres in Klagenfurt and Düsseldorf.

In 2002 she was nominated for the literary contest Open mike in Berlin and 2007 for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in Klagenfurt.. 2007 released the art book "Piquadrat” with publisher BUCHENpresse. In 2009 her play “Mehr als Meer” was selected for the "Forum for the Independent Theatre Groups" in Egypt - Alexandria.

Geboren in Tschechien, lebt zur Zeit in Berlin. Sie schreibt Prosa, Theaterstücke, Lyrik und Essays. 2002 wurde sie für den Literaturwettbewerb Open Mike in Berlin und 2007 für den Ingeborg-Bachmann-Preis in Klagenfurt nominiert.. 2007 erschien im Verlag BUCHENpresse das Kunstbuch „Piquadrat“. 2009 wurde in Alexandria/Ägypten ihr Theaterstück „Mehr als Meer“ zweisprachig auf Deutsch und Arabisch herausgegeben.

BUDZILLUS (Berlin)

Die Band wurde ursprünglich unter dem Namen „Budzillus und die Antikörper“ gegründet, um auf der Hochzeit einer gemeinsamen Freundin zu spielen. Obwohl eigentlich ungeplant, wurde die Band für weitere Konzerte engagiert und absolvierte in den folgenden Jahren Auftritte in ganz Deutschland.

Eine Besonderheit an Budzillus ist, dass die Bandmitglieder einen großen Teil der Instrumente selbst gebaut oder stark modifiziert haben.

Canadian road warriors alan and John Glen formally of Uisce Beatha and Red are back with there newest musical experiment "The Chain Gang" A mixture of folk, punk, and good old fashioned rock & roll. The brothers have been on a short break after touring for over a decade through North America And Europe they are ready to hit the boards again and do what they do best(other than drinking!) Sweating and screaming from the stage. The Chain Gang will be debuing the brothers new material and sound which has been compared to the likes of The Clash the Who, The Pouges, Elvis Costello, Rem, Viloent Femmes to name a few.The only way to enjoy the full experience is to see them live on stage so get yourself arrested and join "The Chain Gang".

Als Duo seit Ende 2008 bestehend aus den Musikern und Künstlern Lucia Lip und Johannes Buenemann vereinen sie die Attitüde des Punk, den Sound des Psychedelic und die Arbeitsweise des Electro mit glamourösem Auftreten im Wissen um die Weite der Träume, melodiegestützt geräuschwandig."

Our aim is to encourage the audience to experience not just the genre to which they are used to, through the wide range of culture offered in unconventional yet traditional context. English, German and Czech translations of all texts read by artists, will be simultaneously projected during poetry presentations and video art installations.

Unser Ziel ist es, nicht nur die Zuhörer zum Erfahren des Genres zu animieren sondern auch die weite Spanne an Kultur in einem unkonventionell dargebotenen Kontekt zu reflektieren. Alle durch den Künstler gelesene Texte werden in englischer, deutscher und tschechischer Übersetzung per Videoprojektion präsentiert und während der Poesiepräsentationen und Installation der künstlerischen Videos gezeigt.

Součástí festivalu je také otevřený audiovizuální workshop pro návštěvníky. Všechny čtené texty budou přeloženy do českého, německého a anglického jazyka a promítány souběžně se čtením v jazyce původním.
