The rockingest and most long-lived Halloween party in Prague returns in the mutant form of the 9th annual BLAQ MUMMY concert, this year teaming up with the indierock.cz showcase in the elegant-yet-seedy Bordo club to bring forth three bands and, if previous years are any guide in the darkness, too many creepy surprises to shake a mojo at.
Come in costume and your entrance fee will get you one free drink ticket! Costume prizes, giant monster movie projections on top of quality underground live music is the subterranean lowdown this year. In addition to BLAQ MUMMY, the 2007 incarnation of the Halloween extravaganza features the forboding sounds of Phantom Taxi Ride, a major Polish energy-edge band, and Take Death, a rising deathstar in the Czech darkelectro scene. To spook you onto the dance floor we have the terrifying Rapture DJs following the live show.
THANKS to Rock & Pop, expats.cz, Express Radio and a special thanks to the Zátiší Group (www.zatisigroup.cz) and others for donating prizes.
