In June 2005, Mamasweed won the Rockliga tournament (a Jaegermeister band competition in Germany) representing Berlin. Their second and latest album "Electric Zeppelin", mixed and enhanced by Gordon Raphael(u.a. The Strokes) , was released in 2006. "Electric Zeppelin" features many special musical guests from several influential German bands (Beatsteaks, . The music is very energetic and melodic with a polished but down to earth party groove. The bands musical influences come from many different worlds of music, ranging from classical to rock to afro-beat to reggae, but their main inspiration comes from 60's rock and roll.
