These days the search for a laugh at no one's expense can appear to be in vain...so a laugh at everyone's expense seems to be just the right ticket.

Albert Brooks takes a dig at politics, religion and culture...and well, we respect that. "Looking for Comedy in a Muslim World" has just been nominated for an Oscar which will probably insure it's popularity upon it's release January 20th.

It's a "what if" comedy, as in what if George W. sent Brooks to India and Pakistan to do his stand-up act for the 300 million Muslims who live in the region? The goal being to learn what tickles the funny bone of a people the world has stereotyped as terrorists.
