Michael Jackson the Beer Hunter (not the other one) passed away yesterday morning. Beer fans remember the man and his impact on the world of beer. Among other things, he is responsible for establishing the definition of worldwide beer styles. He is also credited with reviving the Belgian beer industry and inspiring the U.S. microbrewing renaissance.
Raise a glass of beer for him tonight.
Top beer expert Michael Jackson died this morning. Jackson dedicated more than three decades to the pursuit and documentation of the world’s finest beers, and wrote many books on the subject. He became known as the most widely-published and influential author on beer.
