Every August, hundreds of thousands of Euro kids make the pilgrimage to Budapest’s leafy Old-Buda Island for a musical gathering of Buddha-size proportions. Lukáš Machalický and Jan Pfeiffer work with the topic of distance from two positions. Pfeiffer develops and reimagines ideas about distance and the city, using cartoon animation. Machalický focuses on the geometric form of the model, manipulating conventional notions of distance which works with the with the substitution of the scale, with different distances.

The Chelsea Hotel has been always sought by people at the margin of official streams, musicians, visual artists, poets and photographers, so its history is very rich in this sense. However, the lecture will focus on the period from the 1950s up to the present, when it accommodates members of bands such as The Velvet Underground, Frank Zappa and his Mothers Of Invention, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Sex Pistols and related artists. A story of seven characters pulling out a devil for a tail from our entrails and showing him in his full insidiousness. Cowardliness of a poor, humiliation of a queen, harm to a kitty. A crude performance that can be considered even cruder as it displays a real world round the corner which we aren't daring enough to look at. In a rather crude, chaotic but humorous form, the piece tells a story of seven characters searching for their ten thousand lost dreams and one worthy sense of life. A performance that was awarded prestigious Herald Angel Award at Fringe Festival in Edinburgh 2009!

Blex Bolex whose real name is Bernard Granger, is an illustrator and author of French comics. Its design, very characteristic, joint the influence of comics, posters of the period between the wars, crime novels of the 50s and 60 and advertisements. He lives in Germany where he runs an art studio at the University Berlin Wessensee and cooperates with French and German publishers. Sponsored by the Czech Ministry of Culture, this year's Normal Festival features art for and by people who live with learning disabilities. Often unable to succeed in school, these artists have found a means of self-expression through elements ranging from film, to performance, to photography. Street art is the expression of the creativity of the street, responding spontaneously to the urban space and interacting well with people. 'Against Hatred': An interpretation of the past moving towards the future

'1st September 1939' is the date on which the story could have been changed forever, in which humanity could have become lost in the darkness of Nazism, intolerance, radicalization, extermination and hatred. Fortunately, the joint effort of many nations stopped this impending night, but the conflict left a deep wound that even now remains gaping. Exhibits such as 'Against Hatred' can help heal the wound.

It has long been commonplace for ambitious directors to restage Shakespeare in modern dress, adapting the setting to "breathe life" into aging works that are thought to be inaccessible or impractical to produce as originally written. As a result, it's difficult to find productions of Shakespeare plays that haven't been meddled with in some way.
