Palac Akropolis hosts the German musician and his dance mix of electronics with his eight-Shantel Bucovina Club Orkestar band. Shall live in a club environment concert party, which celebrated the success of last year's Colors of Ostrava: Balkan melodies and instruments based on electronic rhythms. Prague than Shantel presents songs from the boards 'Bucovina' and 'Disko Partizani' new album called "Planet Sweet". Shantel, holder of the prestigious BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music, particularly renowned as one of the first DJ who remixed songs Romanian, Serbian and Macedonian bands - such as Taraf de Haidouks, Mahala Rai Banda and Boban Markovic Orkestar.

The new album "Let Freedom Ring" published in September 2009 on the label Cooking Vinyl. Chuck Prophet wrote a new song on "one to harness" the open window during a summer heat wave in 2008 in San Francisco. The player, he just filmed Dwight Twilley, Iggy, Thin Lizzy and the Knack. During that summer he finally created a concept album. The songs were very straightforward and directly called for guitars and more guitars. He also wanted to be recorded somewhere in the place of raw and inspiring. Chuck's music is associated with the topography - draws inspiration from what is interesting places around it. Chuck finally persuaded some related musicians to travel to Mexico City - now the largest city in the world with 25 million inhabitants. Recorded a studio album Estudio 19, quite modern, well, maybe in 1958, modern ... Along with Chuck produced by Greg Leisz (a record of a collaboration with Beck, Emmylou Harris and the band Wilco). Within three days of their arrival a full-blown epidemic of swine influenza and undignified wearing blue masks to raw atmospheric recording pretty good sense. During the next eight days, participating musicians recorded the entire foundation for the board "Let Freedom Ring" - During those days they experienced a complete blackout, police raid, an earthquake of magnitude 6.4 on the Richter scale, and other fun events. Mexico City is just 4 hours flight from San Francisco, but to them it seemed like the far side of the Moon. Around them, while all kinds of miracles happening, they were not locked in small bamboo-paneled study and amplifiers turned on loudly.

      This year celebrates the 60th player Jiri Schmitzer birthday. Jiří Schmitzer is also one of the most prominent Czech songwriters.
