VIII- Adjustment / adjustování
by Cat Deleon

Yelling and screaming can be the laxative of the soul but not cool, especially if you’re flinging shit in public. Sometimes clearing out the garbage and getting things into perspective needs to happen. Bringing balance into life is necessary. In past columns, I’ve talked about starry-eyed love: when we tend to roll over and show our tender kitten bellies. Even the nicest person will take it as a signal that he or she should be Alpha dog … and, baby, that wasn’t your intent.

March’s card is Adjustment. It’s time to level the playing field and take stock of our lives, especially the romantic aspects, and detach to see how this will fit into your real world. Don’t jettison anyone. The new cast of characters is here to stay. Know it’s time to focus on your goals and put everything into perspective. Balance is key. The scales must remain level, not as they’ve been, with you on one side, your ass brushing the ground.

Adjustment is the card of Libra. Librans want harmony and equality. While even the fairest-minded Libra digs being put on a pedestal, soon it becomes a bore. This time of gaining balance is Karmic. It’s about defining yourself and forging ahead on your path to get the things you deserve. Understand the journey can only be made when you are strong and truly yourself. So check the scales … I’ll bet you’ve lost a bit of weight in the meantime. That emotional laxative was good for something.
