THE EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK
 From 16th to 22nd September 2006 European citizens will have the opportunity to enjoy a full week of events dedicated to sustainable mobility. The objective is to facilitate widespread debate on the necessity for changes in behaviour in relation to mobility and in particular the use of the private car. As usual, the Car Free Day will be the highlight of the whole Week. Seznam 111 měst, kde proběhl Den bez aut v roce 2005 v ČR (95 v roce 2004) Děti Země na pátek 22. září 2005 vyhlásily 13. ročník českého Dne bez aut (DBA) společně s 6. ročníkem Evropského dne bez aut (EDBA) a 4. ročníkem Evropského týdne mobility ETM, který probíhá ve dnech 16.-22. září.
Theme 2006
Climate change is one of the biggest challenges the world is facing. In Europe, the year 2005 was the one with most threats up to now posed by global warming, mainly in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, but also in Austria and Germany. In cooperation with the European’Commission campaign "You Control Climate Change" the theme for the European Mobility Week 2006 is Climate Change.
WHY CLIMATE CHANGE AS FOCAL THEME ?
