More than 18,000 people congregated at Prague's open-air Love Planet Festival last summer and this year's event promises to be just as popular. Festival organizers Interkoncerts/Live Nation and D Smack U Promotion are expecting even larger audiences this time around and have arranged for three separate stages to accommodate 23 performers from eight countries. In addition to live music performances, individual tents will house live theatre and film showings.
 From Friday, August 11th and Saturday 12th, Prague's exhibition area at Výstaviště in Praha 7 will feature a star-studded lineup of yesterday's and today's hottest bands. The list includes the legendary Pet Shop Boys (UK), Scotland's Franz Ferdinand, The Rasmus (FIN), Hernan Cattaneo (ARG/UK), Hooverphonic (BEL), Ministry (USA), Loonaloop (AUS) British I am X and Body Count with rapper Ice-T (USA).
Gracing the DJ stage will be the UK's Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo (UK), Satoshi Tomiie (JAP) and the Czech Republic's own DJ Loutka and DJ Tráva. Also representing the Czechs will be bands Clou, Gaia Mesiah, Priessnitz, Vypsaná fixa and Nierka.
