 Hitler... In... Space...!  The exemplary German CT (conspiracy theory) of course can't do without your all time favorite ingredients Nazis and UFOs. Persistent rumours insist that the Nazis managed to dig a giant Castle Wolfenstein into the eternal ice of Antartica. When the 3rd Reich lay in it's last spasms part of the Nazi elite - some say even the GröFaZ (= ironic German acronym for Greatest Fieldmarshall of all Times) himself - found refuge in the oversized freezer and continued working on world domination and mindboggling technical gadgets.
Partly there are reports of encounters of the 3rd (Reich?) kind with a strange race and civilisation that dwells far under the face of our earth. By the end of the 50s though, the whole operation was uncovered and the Americans smoked the Nazi lair with a couple of A-bombs. However, some say that the deep freeze Nazis hung on like cockroaches and that they're still there, expiry unknown.
And if that wasn't enough: Holocaust denier Ernst Zündel (who is just serving time in Germany for exactly that) in the 70s wised to the conclusion that Nazi scientists managed to develop "Imperial German flying discs" which served as means of transportation for Hitler and his ilk to scurry to safety with their gold treasure. According to this a lot of UFO sightings are actually based on Nazi flying activities. Did the last UFO that you saw have a swastika on the bottom?  Die exemplarische deutsche Verschwörungs-Theorie kommt natürlich nicht ohne die allerseits beliebten Zutaten Nazis und UFOs aus.
Sich hartnäckig haltende Gerüchte besagen, dass die Nazis eine riesige Festung in das ewige Eis am Südpol gegraben hätten. Nach dem Krieg hätte ein Teil der Nazi-Elite, manchen Darstellungen zufolge sogar der GröFaZ (= Grösster Feldherr aller Zeiten, ironische Bezeichnung für Hitler während des 3. Reiches) selber, dort Zuflucht gefunden und sich dort erfolgreich versteckt und weiter an der Weltherrschaft und wahnwitzigen Technik-Gimmicks gebastelt.
Teilweise ist auch von einer Kontaktaufnahme mit einer merkwürdigen Zivilisation, die im Erdinnern wohnen würde die Rede. Ende der 50er sei die ganze Sache dann aber aufgeflogen und die Amerikaner hätten mit ein paar Atombomben dort aufgeräumt. Es wird aber auch behauptet die Tiefkühl-Nazis hätten sich dort gehalten und wären immer noch dort, Ablaufdatum unbekannt.
Als ob das noch nicht genug wäre - der Holocaust-Leugner Ernst Zündel (der übrigens gerade deshalb in Haft sitzt) verbreitete sich in den 70igern darüber, dass es damals Nazi-Wissenschaftlern gelungen sei „reichsdeutsche Flugscheiben“ zu entwickeln, mittels derer Hitler mit dem Nazi-Gold in die Antarktis entfleuchen konnte. Demzufolge wären also viele UFO Sichtungen auf Nazi Flugaktivitäten zurückzuführen. Hatte die letzte fliegende Untertasse, die ihr gesehen habt ein Hakenkreuz am Rumpf?
