“No matter where you go, there you are,” Horace wrote 2072 years ago. Today, Provokátor turns this lyrical Latin poet's quote little legs up, and, helpless as it lies with meager chances of escaping, pecks at its belly for answers, and questions, and ideas about what we mean when we say “escapism.”

In the June/July issue, released June 13, the wandering minds at Provokátor inquire into the realm of Prague’s rent boys, David Lynch’s Transcendental Meditation for schools, Český Krumlov’s attractions for the dark minded, and, because what would a summer issue be without festival picks, a beer-fuelled double-page escape guide to fests all over Europe.
