What does one say in order to get some elbow room within the Hip Hop communities? Not that punk or hardcore is much more polite about it - they tend to just shove one another out of the way or knock the offending party senseless or simply underfoot (if they're lucky).
Most probably the availability of guns and the bravado of much of the music could be cited.
