Festival season is upon us and while temperatures May have not been as good as April's (well, we had them then, so can't complain... too much), to quote David Bowie... The Sun Machine is Coming Down, and We're Gonna Have a Party. And what better place to begin that Brno's day long Rio De Rivieria on Saturday 19 May. Rest assured, the name is the only cheesy part of this day's entertainment. The Prostitutes, with Brit Adrian T. Bell on vocals, and the electro Moimir Papalescu and The Nihilists. DJ Vadim + Oneself grace the hip hop stage, while UK/CZ combo Masters of the Universe show us their mighty dirty power once again on the dnb stage. DJs include Jon Carter (London,UK), Justin Robertson (London,UK) and Brno's own Orbith. Tickets 460Kč (520Kč on the day). So hop on a bus or train and head to the countryside for fresh air and fresh tunes.
