Off the Deep Eynde 
Když Angličan nebo Američan řekne “to go off a DEEP END” může to buď znamenat, že někdo jedná nedbale nebo hystericky nebo že se prostě zbláznil. Definovat muziku kapely DEEP EYNDE už tak jednoduché není. Přestože již mnoho let jsou v popředí Losangeleské horror punkové scény, jejich hudba je stěně tak punkově dravá jako smyslná, intenzivní, tajemná a nepředvídatelná. Inspiraci nacházejí nejen na punkové a goth scéně osmdesátých let, ale překvapivě i v americkém swingu a country. Z této stylové směsice splétají okouzlující síť hudebních motivů, ze které není úniku. Ve výčtu hudebních vzorů DEEP EYNDE nalezneme vedle sebe taková jména jako Johnny Cash, Damned, Siuxsie and the Banshees a Misfits. Za patnáct let své existence prošla kapela mnoha personálními změnami, jedno však zůstalo stejné – nezapomenutelná živá vystoupení a kvalitní hudba. Jejich poslední album SHADOWLANDS přivítali s nadšením nejen fanoušci kapely, ale i kritika.
DEEP EYNDE vystoupí 12.12.05 v ROCK CAFE. Předkapelami budou slovenské goth‘n’rollové legendy THE LAST DAYS OF JESUS a přažští punk‘n’rolloví drahoušci PHANTOMS ON FIRE.

To go off the deep end- idiom; 1) To act recklessly or hysterically, 2) To lose one's mind. If only it were that simple to define The Deep Eynde, a complex band at the forefront of the Horror-Punk genre. This L.A. group’s music comes on like a noir detective; dark, mysterious, sensual, intense, and predictably unpredictable. The influence of growing up in the 80’s punk and goth scenes is ever present, but the unexpected country and swing undertones help their albums to weave an enchanting musical web from which there is no escape. Among it’s various influences, The Deep Eynde cites Johnny Cash, The Damned, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and the Misfits. The band has gone through mutations and transformations since being spawned over 15 years ago, but some things have remained constant- a reputation for unforgettable live performances and superior music. Their latest album, Shadowland, has met with unprecedented critical and audience acclaim, as did their stint on the Where the Bad Boys Rock European Tour in spring 2005.
The Deep Eynde will play at Rock Café 12.12.05. Support bands will be Slovak Goth-n-Roll legends The Last Days of Jesus and Czech Punk-n-Roll darlings Phantoms on Fire.
