Electronic wizard Chris Clark of Warp Records plays Prague
Chris Clark, Mr 6 and 7 other djs play the Cross Club on Friday, 11 November
From the label that brought you such digital pioneers as Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and Boards of Canada comes the relative newcomer Chris Clarke. His beats are organic yet erratic while the melodies seem to be swimming from some oceanic abyss. This is drum and bass with throbbing low end, ethereal sounds, and immense beats. He has redefined the world of left field electronica. This is music for huge soundsystems... Refreshingly brutal.
Chris writes music music non-stop, and has almost finished his new album. He has been playing slamming electro-rave sets to techno, breakcore, electronic dancefloors. His musical desk is full of strange gizmos, from Roland to Moog, and yes this man will actually physically play a keyboard. Basically he is an extremely talented and versatile young man not to be missed.
Mr6 (AntiCat and Sabbath Records) previews some of the disjointed, broken electronics that will be unleashed over 3 nights this weekend in the Czech Republic. The other djs will surely keep you in groove mode.
