In response to the popularity of last year’s Moonlight Mayhem Fest, Bat Country Booking will once more unleash the night creatures to play by the light of the moon.
Halloween weekend, Prague will host Central Europe’s only Gothic, Psychobilly, and Horror-punk Fest, Moonlight Mayhem. The two-night fest features an international line-up showcasing various “dark/horror” musical genres.

 Though these genres are influenced by themes of death, monsters, and things from beyond, their differing styles are not often featured on one bill. Moonlight Mayhem seeks to unite these genres and their fans into one weekend of ghoulishly great music while helping major subculture events migrate east.
The festival kicks off Friday Oct 31 with two bands and a Halloween costume party. Splendor blends visual artistry with sound to give a performance mixing music and theater, while displaying both traditional glam and modern influences like Marilyn Manson. The night's second band will be Slovak Deathrock legends The Last Days of Jesus, who've been a staple on the Eastern European dark music scene for almost 15 years. Their stage presence and aggressive sound have earned them recognition in the Deathrock, Goth, and Punk scenes. The dance party should even wake the dead.
Saturday’s line-up will start with Prague’s newest, youngest Psychobilly band, The Rocket Dogz, followed by Czech hell-rockers Phantoms on Fire. Scottish monsters Karloff will get the blood flowing, then creepy-kitsch, spooky-surf Zombina and the Skeletones will rattle some bones. Evil Devil is Psychobilly with substance and style- an aggressive sound and a cross-dressing singer who does a dramatic version of Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita”. Horror-punk stars Blitzkid return to Prague (having supported The Damned in 2007) with their high-energy show and well-crafted songs that have gained them a devoted international following.
