Please read this message carefully. Due to the large tendency over the past few months of P & P-goers to arrive dramatically late therefore causing the open mic to run much later than expected or causing guests to miss the featured performer, we thought it was high time to pull in the reins a bit. Therefore, starting this Sunday, February 25, P & P will begin no matter what at 7 pm. This is half an hour later than the scheduled time of P & P which should allow plenty of time even to those habitually tardy folks. So, we hope to see you all there bright and early this Sunday because you truly do not want to miss our feature this week:

Povetron, a Prague-based indie rock band, have been performing regularly since their formation in 2001. The band is led by singer/songwriter Jakub Mihálik, who cites Sebadoh and Paul Westerberg as influences. The band's sound is enriched by German flutist Antje Bucholz.

Povetron will be followed by an open mic of poetry and music, as usual. Don't miss it! And don't be late!!!
