Uh huh that’s right! Abaton will be hosting the fabulous one day Sperm Festival at 20:00 on Saturday, 25 February. It will continue on into the early hours with a lineup boasting the hottest DJ’s, bands and cinema from the UK, Austria, Poland, Canada, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Performances featuring the most current electronica fused with techno, funk, soul and more will be playing simultaneously on three separate stages, along with an exciting collection of films, shorts, and music videos screening in the Sperm Cinema. I wouldn’t miss Dziga Vertov’s Man with a Movie Camera, a black and white film sountracked by the legendary Cinema Orchestra. This excellent Russian Constructivist film from 1929 kicks off the Sperm Cinema presentations at 20:00.
