 Son Caliente @ Chateau Rouge / 20:30

Son Caliente comes from Havana, Cuba and is rooted in Afro-Cuban style. Interpreting traditional music in original and energetic arrangements the powerfull sound is crossing towards bigbeat. The core  Sibmore then 20 years long experience with concerts in clubs and festivals in Cuba as well as during several artistic collaboration around the world. Son Caliente reached Czech Republic in December 2005 for the first time and after lots of struggling, changes and transformation settled and have been living in Prague. Their life stories create their music. Son Caliente captivated local Czech/Slovak audience. In Prague, their momental home town, there are regular concerts of theirs at latin clubs and music bars.

In one of Alfred Hitchcock's suspense classics, tennis pro Guy Haines (Farley Granger) chances to meet wealthy wastrel Bruno Anthony (Robert Walker) on a train. Having read all about Guy, Bruno is aware that the tennis player is trapped in an unhappy marriage to to wife Miriam (Laura Elliott) and has been seen in the company of senator's daughter Ann Morton (Ruth Roman). Baiting Guy, Bruno reveals that he feels trapped by his hated father (Jonathan Hale). As Guy listens with detached amusement, Bruno discusses the theory of "exchange murders." Suppose that Bruno were to murder Guy's wife, and Guy in exchange were to kill Bruno's father? With no known link between the two men, the police would be none the wiser, would they? When he reaches his destination, Guy bids goodbye to Bruno, thinking nothing more of the affable but rather curious young man's homicidal theories. And then, Guy's wife turns up strangled to death.

Hans Bouffmyhre @ Radost / 21:00

Hans Bouffmyhre is a young man from paisley with a worrying obsession for techno music. The year 2007 seen him play regularly at some of Glasgow’s most underground techno clubs, a trip to play at Prague’s glamorous Club Radost Fx & a guest appearance on Leith Fm's show 'The Vinyl Club'
The boy who goes by the name of Hans has also booked and played alongside the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Funk D' Void, Chloe, Radio Slave, Johannes Heil, Extrawelt, Phil Keiran, Len Faki & Par Grindvik at his club night Sleaze.

Electro Prague Festival @ Kross Club / 21:00

Amnistia was founded in 2003 in Leipzig by Stefan Schoetz and Tino Claus, forced by the wish to create music with its own style and without dogmas. Since that day the band pushes forward irresistible. After many shows and the release of a couple of CD-R's during the last years they got well-known in the scene. In August 2006 they signed a deal with SCANNER. The first cooperation was the release of their album "Neophyte". Now their 2nd longplayer "Blackguard" is out and AMNISTIA will play whereever they wanted to play to promote the album and those who got the chance in the past to see AMNISTIA on stage, know that it is going to be hot.

Matthew Herbert Big Band @ Lucerna / 20:00

Restless innovator, sampling wizard, classically trained pianist and superstar collaborator, MATTHEW HERBERT is one of electronic music's most versatile and prolific figureheads. Recording under his own name as well as Doctor Rockit, Wishmountain, Radio Boy and others, Herbert has also produced and remixed artists as diverse as Bjrk, REM, John Cale, Roisin Murphy, Yoko Ono and Serge Gainsbourg. An alchemist of avant-garde sound in the tradition stretching from Stockhausen to the Aphex Twin, Herbert combines playful pop sensibility with a strictly imposed experimental agenda. In his increasingly conceptual and political albums he has emerged as a unique figure in modern music: a kind of one-man Radiohead, or a Brian Eno for the 21st century.

Tom Waits @ Kongresove Centrum Praha

Tom Waits brings glitter and doom to Prague ; legendary american songwriter makes a growling appearance in Europe to finish the last leg of his Glitter and Doom Tour which began June 17th with thirteen dates across a select portion of the U.S. Wait's first return to Europe since supporting Real Gone in 2004, the tour is scheduled for two nights at Prague's KCP as his first dates in the Czech Republic. In true Waits style, the touring is brief and the locations seemingly random. With a total of only 15 european dates in 7 countries, it's most likely far too late to consider finding a ticket, and new anti-scalper plans which have also been implemented make your chances even slimmer in finding a absurdly overpriced ticket at the venue. This system assigns each ticket-holder with a  personalized ticket and photo ID must be used to gain access to the venues which ensures you only pay face value, when tickets were available, of course. If you're too late for standard prices, or upset the tour isn't coming to your city, let alone your country, you can always travel all the way to Prague next week after ordering one of the  3,000 + Kc seats still available. If you're a true waits fan that can't afford the show, you can always spend what little money you have on a bottle of bourbon, a couple packs of cigarettes and spend the night soaking at home while playing Wait's discography or repeatedly viewing his live Amsterdam DVD and getting Real Gone.

Sheba's Band @ Jet Club / 19:00

The one thing I do want you to know is that Sheba sings all the parts, and  write and produce all of hermusic (except for the Serious riddim, hot riddim from yaard) with the help of her longtime friend and musical collaborator Madfly. Consider this a manifesto of sorts: She's putting an album out very soon, and calling it THE LION OF SHEBA...It's about finding her inner lion, herinner legacy. I’veShe had this dream since she was practically a baby, and this album is about all the bumps and turns along the way. It's been an interesting journey, and it's keeps getting more and more interesting as time passes.
