3/04/08 Die Art (de), Phil Shoenfelt and Southern Cross, Secret 9 Beat at Vagon from 20:00 They were founded in 1984 as Die Zucht, which means "the breed" in German. They were later forced to change the name, due to the goverment of the German Democratic Republic not being amused about the name. Their famous, legendary concert in 1989 infront of over 12.000 people, was kind of like their big kick-off. After their concert, in the timespace between 1990-2001, they released 9 complete CD albums, as well as a bunch of EPs and singles. In 2001 they decided to move away from Die Art, and a new band was born; Wissmut. Wissmut consist of the same artists that were performing on Die Art's last two concerts Moritzbastei, which was later released on CD ("Last Live Sequences"). In 2007, they changed back to Die Art.
