Wednesday 20:
CCTV Allstars @ Chapeau (20:30)
CCTV Allstars blend ska, folk, reggae, and rock to form a unique musical fusion. Ed, the singer and song writer, guitarist and composer, founded this band of troublemakers with the intent to bridge gaps between musical culture and society as a whole - together in a danceable manner. The name CCTV Allstars was chosen to raise awareness of the amount of forced-control imposed on society by governments and conglomerate corporations, and also to raise awareness of the dissolution of our civil liberties. CCTV Allstars was not meant to mean that the band are allstars, but it is to mean that everyone is a star because we are all being watched by government cameras. The completely international band consists of:
Ed (uk) - guitar & lead vocals
Ulf (swe) - bass guitar & supporting vocals
Stepan (cz) - trombone & supporting vocals
Tom (us) - trumpet & supporting vocals
Nina (sk) - violin
Omar (mex) - drum & backing vocals

Thursday 21:
9viet - multikulturní večírek @ Hala C (18:00)
We invite you to a project to reflect the current events, regarding the situation of Czech-Vietnamese relationships in the Czech Republic, in a bit lightweight and humorous way. We'll try to find a reason to these events, not only the ones in the past few months (see the fire in November, successive police raids on Vietnamese markets, which aroused a scandal and a shock-not just cultural, but rather human), respond to allegations of excessive crimes (the alleged murder of a higher concentration of the desktop market ) and the seemingly funny reports on Vietnamese, who switched from the market for marijuana. (edited after translation via google translate)

Ocean Vs. Daughter (cz), The Sads (cz) @ Chapeau (20:30)
According to Ken Nash - as stated on their myspace page -, Ocean Vs. Daughter sounds like: How many times have you been alone in the jungle and heard someone pretending to be an airplane or an old carnival hand? You can relive that experience during a live performance of Ocean Versus Daughter. Acclaimed as one of Prague’s most important indie bands, their music has been called “acoustic rococo architecture with that kielbasa smell.” If there is one performance you will see during a visit to the Golden City, it would be “Carmina Burana: Louder and Darker” but Ocean Versus Daughter would be the next best thing.
The Sads are a Prague-based rock and roll/country band. Their melancholy melodies, combined with their lofi-indie sound, is compared most often with that of The Silver Jews or The Magnetic Fields.
Singer and guitarist Steven Rusling is responsible for the lyrical and musical composition, though Matt Ford's bellowing cello most defines their sound. The drummer Mark Tierney produces lush, orchestral sounds from a snare drum and busted cymbal. Nick Jennings' rhythmic bass provides the music a spine, while Marc Cram offers counter melodies on guitar and saxophone.
