P&P Prague Fringe Festival Recommendations

Prague Fringe Festival is just around the corner and while there are several wonderful events on the program, P and P has some specific recommendations for you, including the Ancient Geeks, a one time feature at P and P, who will perform on June 2 and 3, and The Voice and the Verse, which includes another past feature of P and P, the poets Neil McCarthy and Stephan Murray along with some musical talent they have brought over from Ireland and the US. The Voice and the Verse performs all eight nights of the Fringe at 8pm at U Maleho Glena. Also, former Prague resident and friend of P and P, Becka McFadden is returning to the Fringe with a production of Don Nigro's NECROPOLIS, all eight nights at 9:30 at A Studio Rubin. And last but certainly not least, P and P regular and friend of P and P, Liam Billingham of Rock in Shoe Theatre will present his take on Bertolt Brecht's classic THE EXCEPTION AND THE RULE. this Sunday night Rock in Shoe Theatre, my company, will open THE EXCEPTION AND THE RULE, at the Prague Fringe Festival ( www.fringe.cz). It's being described as a 'morality play with musical numbers (yea, that's right, musical numbers-back off!).' I'm really proud of where the production has gone, and I hope to see all of you there (those of you on this side of the pond at least!)
