ImageHello / Ahoj / Hallo!

(Appy-polly-loggies in advance for the application of dramatics--- but the only other way of getting the worlds' attention is to blow something up... and that's become passé. Which is a shame, because we've had to spend a lot of time and money to overcome our pyromaniac tendencies and turn it into semi-professional, meglomaniacal- Gonzo Journalism. That being said ----scroll to the bottom*...)

Christmas Eve 1914, enemy soldiers put down their arms and agreed not to shoot off each other's legs. "The British and French troops, all along the miles of trenches, accepted. In a few places, allied troops fired at the Germans as they climbed out of their trenches. But, the Germans were persistent and Christmas would be celebrated even under the threat of impending death."* Are we capable of that now?

(Scroll to middle for German translation by Jens Tuch...even though he disagrees somewhat ...)

Jsme však něčeho takového schopni dnes?
(Scroll to bottom for Czech translation by Ondrej Lukeš ....even though he thinks we're completely silly...)

*We still love blowing things up, but we'll settle for blowing up the context and being an explosive nuisance to the general population through words, actions and passing gas in public...but M-80's are always fun, and are never fully out of fashion.
Cheers everyone! Dog bless us all!
