Ribbons and Gowns by Bethany Shaffer Ok so we're not just hardcore music lovers, we like poetry too!
these ups and downs faces of clowns dreams of small needles injecting my blue stabs in my nightmares removing your cat hairs reached in for a nickel and pulled out a vein purple to gray still throbbing it lay cannot pay homage to a rumbling beast the sunshine's poor spent the knives have been bent you splintered your heel on a nail in the wall lids won't peel lashed til felt forty slashes the ribbons and gowns have all gone to waste.
